The patch goes on the inside, over the pupil, straight edge up. You need about 45 by 26 mm of smooth lens.
SunglassesBEST
Flat or mildly curved sunglasses. The easiest fit. Centre it over the pupil, straight edge up, on the inside of the lens.
Fashion framesBEST
Fashion frames: cat eye, oversized, round. Flat fashion lenses take it well. On small lenses trim a little from the outside edge.
Ski gogglesBEST
Ski and snowboard goggles. The largest, flattest lens. Apply indoors and warm, one per eye, centred on the pupil. Very steep toric lenses may crease.
Swim gogglesBEST
Swim goggles and snorkel masks. Small and mostly flat, close to ideal. Dry the inside first, then a little water.
TacticalGOOD
Tactical and airsoft eyewear. Works on the inside of most flat and mildly curved lenses. It does not change any safety or impact rating.
Moto visorsGOOD
Motorcycle visors. Place it on your line of sight, not the visor centre: put the helmet on and mark the spot first.

Fit
What if it does not fit my sunglasses?
It fits if the inside of the lens has about 45 by 26 mm of smooth surface. Flat and mildly curved lenses are easiest; ski and swim goggles fit well; deep sport wraps can crease, so try one pack first and use the flattest part over your line of sight.
Will people notice it?
Not on dark tints, in normal use: the patch is clear and sits behind the tint, with at most an extremely faint hairline for a careful eye. On light, clear or mirrored lenses the edge can catch the light at some angles.
I have astigmatism. Will it work?
Partly, and we would rather tell you now. unblur carries the sphere (SPH) power only. With a CYL of 0.75 or less most people find sphere alone is fine for sunglasses; above that, expect softer edges than your own glasses.
Wear and care
What if it stops sticking?
A drop of water and a press brings it back. A thin film of water holds it, and it is reusable: peel it off, rinse it, put it back or move it to the next pair. We do not print a number of uses until we have tested it.
Will it survive the pool or the sea?
Yes, inside swim goggles and snorkel masks: dry the inside first, then a little water. Rinse off salt and chlorine the same day.
What if it gets dirty?
It washes clean: cool water and a drop of plain dish soap, fingertips only, rinse well and air dry. No alcohol, lens spray, acetone or hot water: they haze silicone.

We swap it free within 30 days of delivery. Contact us with your order number and the right power. The one condition: the lens has not been cut.
What if I need them soon?
Plan on 7 to 12 days to the United States; we dispatch in one business day. Shipping is free over $49, which covers the two and three pair packs.
