Sound familiar?

Sunglasses on, you trade your eyes for your face.

Look good and not see. Or see, and squint in your regular glasses. Neither one is you.

  1. A woman in sunglasses at a cafe table peering down the street at someone waving
The squint Who is waving? No idea.

Sunnies on, you look great. You also nod at a blur down the street and hope it was your friend.

  2. A drawer full of sunglasses with one prescription pair in its case and a long receipt
The price One pair. A few hundred dollars. Still squinted.

The prescription pair cost more than the frames. Every pair you actually liked lives on your head like a headband.

  3. A woman at a bathroom mirror trying to put in a contact lens, eye watering
    The contacts Contacts? Tried once.

The poke. The dry eyes by three. The morning it folds on your finger and the week it just will not go in.

The fix

Keep your face. Keep your eyes.

Be the one who looks good and sees everything. Not the one asking what the sign says.

  1. Black sunglasses held up from the inside, a clear D shaped patch seated in each lens, straight edge up
The patch A clear little lens inside the pair you already own.

Made for your glasses number. Rinse it, press it in, straight edge up. No glue, no optician, no new frames.

Holds by itself until you peel it. Fits a smooth lens about 45 by 26 mm.

  2. A woman laughing on a sunny street in black sunglasses, the lenses plain and dark from the front
From the front From the front, nothing.

People see your sunglasses. Not a patch, not a second lens. Just you, laughing at the joke you actually saw coming.

Up close, a faint outline at most.

  3. The view through a sunglass lens: blurry outside, sharp through the clear D shaped patch
Through it Through it, your number.

Faces, menus, signs, the far end of the garden. Sharp, in the five dollar pair from the gas station too.

Your sphere number from -1.00 to -6.00. Astigmatism is not corrected.

Your sunglasses. Your eyes.

Both. Without the hefty price tag.

The pairs in your drawer come back. Wrong number? We swap it free within 30 days.

Most people take 2 pairs: a spare for the car, or one per eye number. Shipping is charged once.

For him: the pair that looks right, and the road, the slope and the ball all sharp. Nobody knows.

The fix

Rinse it. Press it. Wear it.

  1. A clear patch with drops of water on it
    01 Rinse it

A quick rinse washes off the dust that hides the tack.

  2. The patch pressed inside a black sunglass lens, straight edge up
    02 Press it

Straight edge up, over the pupil, press from the middle out.

  3. Close up of the clear patch seated inside a lens, straight edge up
    03 Wear it

Sunglasses on. Your number, in your own frames.

How the stick works

It holds by itself.

  1. Soft silicone. Holds by itself. No glue. No residue.
    Holds by itself
  2. Dust and lint hide the tack.A rinse washes them off.Tack back. Press it on again.
    Rinse to reset
  3. Only on and off cycles wear it. Keep a spare.
On and off wears itAdd a spare pair

Keep the lens clean. A clean, smooth lens holds best; a scratched or textured one holds less.

A demo pair

We show it in these frames so you can see it. We sell the patch, not the sunglasses.

In the pouch

A case and two patches.

  • Press seal pouch, printed with your SPH.
  • Frosted case, a pocket for each patch.
  • Two patches, identical, 45 by 26 mm.
How many

One pack per pair you wear.

  • Every pair needs its own patch.
  • The car pair, ready in the glovebox.
  • Goggles, for ski, swim or moto.
  • A spare for the trip.
  • Taking it on and off often wears the tack; a spare pair keeps every frame covered.

Will it fit?

A smooth lens is all it needs.

  • Flat or mild curves: the easiest fit.
  • Ski and swim goggles: a big, flat lens.
  • Deep wraps: try one pack first.
  • About 45 by 26 mm of lens in front of your eye.

From the front, hard to spot.

A faint outline through the tint. Most people never notice.

Seated. Flat to the lens, straight edge up.
Questions

Quick answers.

Will people notice it?

Not on a dark tint at a glance. Light or mirrored lenses can show the edge at some angles.

How do I clean it?

Cool water and a drop of plain dish soap, then air dry. No alcohol or lens spray.

Pool or sea?

Yes, inside swim goggles and masks. Rinse off salt and chlorine the same day.

My lens is small.

Trim a little from the outside edge with scissors, then fit it.

How many times can I reuse it?

We do not print a number until we have tested it. Rinse it and it holds again.

What if it gets lost in the mail?

Turn on shipping protection in your bag, $2.95. Lost, damaged or stolen on the way: we send a new pair free. How it works

What if I stick it crooked?

Add the 90 day replacement pass in your bag, $5.95. One free replacement pair, any time in 90 days. How it works
